Calling All Wizards and Muggles!

Just after the release of the final chapter of the Harry Potter movie – Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, The National Railway Museum has once again come up trumps with their Wizard Week and are asking muggles to come and visit this magical museum.

Wizard week begins on the 11th February and finishes on the 19th February 2012, the museum is open from 10am – 6pm.

There will be loads to do and see during the week including, Wizard performances, Craft activities, owl displays, trails and the main event being a ride on the steam star from the Harry Potter movies.

The entrance to The National Railway Museum is free, although some activities carry a small charge.

The Wizard Week is a fabulous day out for railway and Harry Potter enthusiasts alike, besides the magical goings on there are many other exciting things to see year round including, the magnificent Duchess of Hamilton restored to her original streamlined form, other iconic locomotives, engineering work in progress, an object-filled Warehouse and loads of room in the outdoor play area for kids to let off steam.
