X Factor and Matt Cardle fans in London will be queuing outside Whiteley’s Shopping Centre tonight to take a peek at Matt Cardle as he visits the shopping centre at 5pm.

Matt Cardle will be performing his new single from X Factor, ‘When We Collide’ and then will be ‘colliding’ with his fans afterwards.

Matt has certainly hit the headlines this week following his win on Sunday on ITV’s X Factor, according to the Daily Star the winner has now got minders protecting him against his over enthusiastic female fans. Unfortunately ladies, Matt has confirmed that he is giving up women for a while, whilst he concentrates on his new career as a pop star. Not very Rock and Roll is it?

Rumour has it that it was not just Matt Cardle who came out as a winner from X Factor this week. Simon Cowell has signed up another three performers from this years X Factor to his SiCo record label. No guesses really as to who this would be! Yep, correct, Cher Lloyd, who has also been taken under the wing by will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas, One Direction, who have been told they have a “bright future” and in my opinion the really winner, Rebecca Ferguson.

So,there you go, the media was correct, X Factor is fixed because they all win in the end!

National Trust recently got in touch with BritEvents.com to ask us whether we would add their 2010 events to our database – all 25,000+ of them, phew!

Although the wonderful National Trust supplied all their events in an incompatible format, we’re happy to say that after several hours of attempting to tie up the data so that it matches ours, we’ve managed to list all their 2010 events onto BritEvents.com.

It has been a mammoth task, but well worth it. BritEvents.com supports the excellent work that the National Trust undertakes every year, and while the charity is amongst others in struggling through the tough economic times, they’re working harder than ever to ensure the protection and maintenance of more than 350 historic houses, gardens and monuments across Britain for our benefit to keep them open for viewing.

We’re delighted to offer our support in providing an additional source of exposure for this wonderful organisation.
