Royal Wedding
After a long-standing tradition Kate Middleton will not be able to toss her bouquet after her marriage to Prince William on Friday, but will have it placed on the grave of the Unknown Soldier killed in the First World War.
The Queen Mother started this tradition in 1923 after her wedding to the Duke of York, when she left her posy on the grave of the Unknown Warrior at Westminster Abbey, in remembrance of her Brother killed during the conflict in 1915.
As with all previous Royal marriages, the Bridal Bouquet will be sent back to Westminster Abbey after all the photos of the Royal Bride and Groom have been taken. Why not check out the Royal Wedding Schedule on BritEvents.com and plan your street party or celebration events ahead of the big day.

Preparations Begin For The Royal Wedding
Kate, and her Father Michael Middleton, will be walking around the Grave on their way down the aisle on Friday, as the ancient monument of the The Unknown Warrior is the only one in Westminster Abbey where walking is prohibited.
The Unknown Warrior
The tomb holds an unidentified British soldier killed on a European battlefield during the First World War. The body was bought over from France and buried in a ceremony on Armistice Day on 11th November, 1920.
